The Weirdo Preacher

I spoke at a Methodist Church yesterday, and this was how I was introduced by the local pastor to the congregation:

"Our preacher today is a very young man. He has kindly consented to speak at our service this morning. He has been teaching us a course on Authentic Spirituality in the past several weeks. We find his teaching... err... weird.

Let's welcome Mr Sherman Kuek!"

Jesus was a weirdo too :)

at least that made them pay attention to the sermon more ;) even if it was to see what was so 'weird' about ur teaching. haha

huh!! juz wonder wat have u taught them about authentic spirituality ???? Doesn't sound good to me to call u "weird" and it's not a very polite or respect way of introducing a speaker!!!

It probably grabbed the congregation's attention until you speak and they found you normal. And then they start thinking, "What a weird speakers intro?"

Or did your teaching confirm the pastor's intoduction? haha

hahahahahhah

ha ha ha!!! I hope the pastor was a good friend.

I was once referred to as one of God's irregulars. Weird ain't always bad.
